Irrigation Systems

Our irrigation services specialize in designing and installing efficient systems tailored for new lawns, planting beds, and drip irrigation.

We ensure your plants receive the right amount of water while conserving resources, helping you create a lush and thriving landscape.

In addition to new installations, we also provide repairs, adjustments, and improvements to existing irrigation systems. This may include fixing leaks, replacing damaged sprinkler heads, adjusting coverage, repairing valves, upgrading timers or controllers, and improving system performance.

Our goal is to provide practical irrigation solutions that support healthy landscapes, conserve water, and keep your system operating reliably throughout the year.

What Is a Sprinkler System for a Lawn?

A sprinkler system is an irrigation system designed to automatically water a lawn by distributing water evenly across the grass through a network of pipes and sprinkler heads.

The system is usually installed underground and connected to a water supply and a controller (timer) that determines when and how long the lawn is watered.

The purpose of a sprinkler system is to keep the lawn healthy, green, and properly hydrated while using water efficiently.

Main Parts of a Lawn Sprinkler System

  1. Water Supply – The system connects to the main water line of the property.

  2. Valves – Control the flow of water to different areas (called zones).

  3. Controller/Timer – Programs when the sprinklers turn on and off.

  4. Pipes (Lateral Lines) – Underground pipes that carry water to the sprinkler heads.

  5. Sprinkler Heads – Pop-up heads that spray water across the lawn.

  6. Zones – Sections of the lawn watered separately to maintain proper pressure and coverage.

When the system turns on, water travels through the pipes, the sprinkler heads pop up, and they spray water in a set pattern to cover the grass evenly.

Why Sprinkler Systems Are Important

A properly designed sprinkler system helps:

  • Keep lawns evenly watered

  • Prevent dry spots and overwatering

  • Save water through efficient coverage

  • Maintain a healthy and green landscape

What Is a Drip Irrigation System for Planting Beds?

A drip irrigation system is a watering system designed to deliver water slowly and directly to the roots of plants. Instead of spraying water over a large area like sprinkler systems do for lawns, drip irrigation uses small tubes and emitters that release water gradually where plants need it most.

Drip irrigation is commonly used in planting beds, shrub areas, flower beds, vegetable gardens, and landscaped areas where precise watering helps plants grow healthier and reduces water waste.

How a Drip Irrigation System Works

Water travels through a network of small flexible tubing installed along the planting beds. At specific points along the tubing, emitters or drip lines release water slowly into the soil near the base of each plant. This allows the water to soak into the root zone where plants absorb it most effectively.

Main Components of a Drip Irrigation System

  1. Water Supply Line – Connects the system to the property’s main water source.

  2. Pressure Regulator – Reduces water pressure to protect the drip tubing.

  3. Filter – Prevents debris from clogging the emitters.

  4. Drip Tubing / Lines – Flexible tubing that runs through the planting beds.

  5. Emitters or Drip Holes – Small openings that release water slowly near the plants.

  6. Controller/Timer – Automates when the system waters.

Benefits of Drip Irrigation for Planting Beds

  • Delivers water directly to plant roots

  • Reduces water waste and evaporation

  • Helps prevent overwatering

  • Encourages healthy plant growth

  • Keeps leaves dry, reducing plant disease

  • Works well with mulch and planting beds
